Top 5 Business Apps on Android in South America: Q1 2025

The first quarter of 2025 saw significant activity among business apps on the Android platform in South America. Below, we explore the performance trends of the top five apps, using data provided by Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Teams experienced a rise in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 74K at the beginning of January and peaking at around 336K in mid-February. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 9.5M to over 17M by the end of March.

Zoom Workplace showed consistent revenue growth, starting at $8.9K and reaching a high of $13.6K in late February. Downloads increased steadily, with the highest weekly figure around 264K in March. Active users also rose, ending the quarter at over 12M.

PDF Scanner app - TapScanner saw a notable increase in revenue, peaking at over $50K in the final week of March. Downloads fluctuated but eventually rose to 200K in early March. Active users increased from 570K to over 1M by the quarter's end.

Minha Claro maintained a steady download rate, with figures hovering around 150K throughout the quarter. Active users, however, experienced fluctuations, dropping to 5.4M in mid-March before recovering to 6.4M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a consistent download pattern, averaging around 145K weekly. Active users remained stable, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 4.7M.
